A LYNX is born
lynx, name given to several related small, ferocious members of the cat family. Alternatively, an acronym for Lions Youth Network Xpress.LYNX has arrived!
Following the hard work of Lions club members, youth leaders, workers and supporters and some dedicated young people themselves, LYNX (Lions Youth Network Xpress) has commenced operations.
LYNX seeks to fill the void left by the departure of Youth Insearch, but will offer its own brand of peer counselling and support with a strong Tasmanian flavour.
This is a very positive step forward for youth following the disappointment of Youth Insearch's abandonment of Tassie last year and everyone involved in the project is confident it will result in an even better product and outcomes.
